Greetings from ANZA
Our group, short for the Australian and New Zealand Association of Korea, is very lucky to operate in a world where three great countries meet. This association is focused on community, and strives to offer a welcoming atmosphere for people from any country – an important part of our work is to provide a friendly and open occasion for all.
ANZA Korea seeks to provide a range of events on a regular basis, from coffee and pub night style occasions to more formal and organized evenings that help drive our core focus on fundraising for local charities. The ANZA team comprise a diverse range of backgrounds and skills, united by our desire give to something back to South Korea whilst also sharing the culture and heritage of all three countries.
We would very much welcome new members, and our annual member fee includes your whole family. We aim for events across the year, and also look to incorporate important events on both the Australian and New Zealand calendar.
With the Covid outbreak somewhat casting a shadow on the core events we often facilitate, our team are preparing and waiting for when we can serve our community, and are planning events for both 2021 and also 2022.
Our ANZA committee are all volunteers, and new members are often needed to help our work – the main focus is to serve and contribute to the collection of charities that we work with. Even if you might be able to help out with one aspect of planning, promoting and organizing one event, we would welcome your support so please feel free to contact us. We very much welcome feedback and suggestions and understand that we are nothing without the community that we serve.
We hope to see you soon at one of our events and can’t wait for our regular schedule of events to resume.
Take care and stay safe
