Creating Global Communities Through the Universal Language of Music!

Camarata Music
Camarata Music is a non-profit organization that creates global communities through the universal language of music, by providing collaborative performance opportunities for musicians of all nationalities residing in Korea. By doing so, it presents opportunities for the public to hear classical music performed by people from many different cultures and nationalities. 101 countries from 6 continents have been represented since 2009.

The Camarata Chamber Singers
This group is the face of the Camarata Music Company. The Chamber Singers is an auditioned choir of 28-32 singers that performs regularly throughout the year. Besides its two major concerts, the choir can be seen singing for fundraisers, lecture concerts, various business events, and private parties. It has performed for former presidents of Korea, ambassadors from numerous countries, and is regularly featured at benefit concerts and at some of Korea’s finest art halls.

The Camarata Chorale
The Chorale is the heart and soul of the Camarata Music Company. It is an amateur choir that performs four major concerts every year, including a spring major work, a summer musical, and an autumn pops concert, all leading up to an annual performance of Handel’s Messiah in December. The Chorale’s members have represented 86 countries since the start of the Camarata Music Company, creating a culturally diverse atmosphere as they all prepare toward the common goal of making classical music together. What’s more, they come from all walks of the musical life, from the beginner to the music professional. All are welcome, whether they be shower singers or seasoned veterans.

Camarata Music Company Director
Dr. Ryan Goessl is the founder and conductor of the Camarata Music Company choirs and orchestra. He is in demand as a conductor, baritone soloist, festival adjudicator, clinician, voice teacher, and coach. His doctoral dissertation on the Lutheran Choral Tradition received praise from some of the world's leading choral scholars. He has lectured worldwide on various subjects in music and choral music, and is regularly in demand as a conductor, soloist, lecturer, and adjudicator. Dr. Goessl has been honored by Seoul Mayor Park, WonSoon in 2018 the distinction of being an "Honorary Citizen of Seoul" and he received awards in the 2014-2015 season for his dedication to the choral and sacred choral art from the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and Itaewon News.

Camarata Outreach
Camarata believes that music is something that should be shared with everyone no matter what their situation, especially children, and thus it goes beyond the scope of concert performance with its Outreach Program. With Camarata Outreach, choir members reach out to the community through performing for the less fortunate and underprivileged at hospitals, nursing centers, orphanages, low-income centers, charity events, and benefits. Along with performing, the choir members often plan a day full of activities, games, food, and fun for all involved, giving out prizes, gifts, and more.
