What is Bollywood Dance?

Bollywood dancing is a colourful, dynamic and highly theatrical dance style seen in Indian films. The word ‘Bollywood’ is the name given to the Indian film industry, originally deriving from ‘Bombay’ (now ‘Mumbai’) and ‘Hollywood’.

Dance Instructor Introduction

Auntora Chowdhury is the founder and director of Ekta Creative Dance Studio, a South Asian dance company based in Sydney, Australia.

She is an experienced dancer, singer, choreographer and teacher passionate about sharing her love of South Asian dance styles with the world. With over 20 years experience, she is wrapping up her three-month stay in Seoul and offering a unique dance class to ANZA Korea before her departure!
