A unique opportunity to view closely and photograph 5 of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games opening Ceremony Costumes, meet the delightful and talented designer, Dr Keysook Geum and the 30 young ladies that carried the pickets for each of the countries.

Keysook Geum received her PhD in Textiles from Ewha Womans University in Seoul in 1988. Since receiving her doctorate, Keysook has exhibited widely throughout Seoul. The artist has also shown her work in a diverse array of cities abroad including, New Orleans, Tokyo, Chicago, St. Petersburg, and Beijing. Dr. Guem lives and works in Seoul, where she serves as a professor in the Department of Textile Art and Fashion Design at Hongik University. The artist has also served as the president of the Korean Society of Costume since 2007.
She creates intricate wire garment sculptures by twisting, cutting and bending iron wire into delicate forms, she was invited by the International Olympic Committee to design the exquisite Olympic dresses for the 2018 winter games in this fashion.
