It is almost that time of year when men don suave suits and women match colourful dresses with beautiful hats, to watch ‘the race that stops the nation’ and raise funds for local Korean charities.
ANZA Korea is in full swing for its Melbourne Cup Charity Luncheon to be held on Tuesday 6th November 2018 at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square.
The Charity Luncheon is one of our major events and we’re looking to have over 150 VIPs, corporates, diplomats, expatriates and Korean community members in attendance.
Enjoy a beautifully prepared four-course lunch and a selection of fine wines and bubbles from Australia and New Zealand.
Watch the race live and get swept up in the excitement of the race by placing a bet in our live Cup Sweeps.
Be in the running to win big in our Raffle and “Fashion on the Fields” best dressed and best hat competitions.
This year we are offering guests the option of customising their table size from a minimum of 6, just let us know your seating preferences when booking and we will create a table just for you. We will also have social tables, so if you don’t specify a preference, we will mix and match.
Ticket availability is limited, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries via firstname.lastname@example.org
This year’s charities
This event is the perfect opportunity to have fun whilst raising money for ANZA charities.
We are committed to giving generously to the local community in which we live and work and this year’s event will raise money for G.O.A.L’s (Global Overseas Adoptees’ Link), ‘emergency care’ fund which is used for Korean adoptees in crisis who are extremely vulnerable and often suffer from mental illness.
We will also support the Dasom Children Community Centre with their after-school education program.
In addition, we will continue contributing to the Battle of Kapyong (Gapyeong) Commemorative Scholarships for the school children of the Gapyeong Valley.
More information about our charities is available on our website at www.anzakorea.com/anza-charities/.
